Campagnolo and Rapha launch global partnership

Campagnolo has announced that its pioneering 13-speed Ekar groupset, and Levante gravel specific wheelset, are now available to experience for Rapha Cycling Club (RCC) members at Rapha clubhouses globally.

The new partnership means RCC members now have the opportunity to ride OPEN U.P and WI.DE bikes specc’d with Campagnolo’s 13-speed gravel groupset and gravel specific wheelset, delivering an exclusive experience for global RCC members, wherever they’re located.

For more than 80 years Campagnolo has forged a reputation for delivering innovative, industry-changing gear that makes every rider dream that bit bigger, pedal that bit harder. Of the partnership, the brand comments; “We’ve joined forces with Rapha to ensure members have an even greater riding experience when taking out one of their clubhouse bikes.”

The RCC, an integral part of Rapha from the very start of the brand, remains a global community of passionate, active cyclists, with membership offering access to exclusive benefits and products.

Man and woman riding in RCC kit, on OPEN bikes equipped with Campagnolo Ekar and LevanteMembership benefits include exclusive early access to Rapha’s most anticipated new launches; personal accident cover from Yellow Jersey Insurance; 10% of Wahoo smart trainers and 20% off other Wahoo products; a discounted subscription to ride navigation service ‘Ride with GPS’; a free one-month trial to Rouleur magazine; regular club rides at 75 cities around the world.

For many, the Rapha model has been the template, spawning a host of co-located cycling shops / cafe pairings (community hubs), as well as a long list of fashion forward cycle clothing brands. When creating relationships based on a truly vibrant customer experience – building a tribe – no other cycling brand has done as much, or seen so many others follow suit.

Global bike hire is just another example of great industry partnerships which Rapha, and RCC members specifically, can access. Available at clubhouses far and wide, from London to Los Angeles, Munich to Melbourne, and many places in-between.

For Campagnolo, the partnership follows on from a reported “turnover increase of 45% from 2020-2022, with OEM sales in financial year 2022 projected to represent 45% of the company’s turnover – a staggering five-fold increase in absolute terms since financial year 2019.”
