Citrus-Lime automated supplier product listings hits 250,000 entries

Retail solutions provider Citrus-Lime is celebrating having achieved over 250,000 entries onto its Supplier Integration Module, a key milestone in the program’s development. The program, AutoSim, has 250,000 listed products in its database and growing.

The program was created to reduce the amount of time it takes to manually list products on websites. AutoSim now automatically updates product pages using detailed item data. No user input is required as the system is interlinked with stock information, updating in real-time. This saves retailers time that can be now concentrated on other revenue-generating areas for the business.

Patrick Adamson, head of the product activation team at Citrus-Lime, said: “Our commitment to continuously improving our workflow has allowed us to deliver product listings at scale without sacrificing quality. We’re always exploring new ways to add value and boost customers’ digital presence and one of the ways we do this is to optimise the listings so they can be found when ‘Googled’. This saves retailers huge amounts of time when setting up and managing their websites and provides them with a truly multi-channel offer.”

AutoSims listings include short and long descriptions along with sizes, colours, technical specifications, and images. It currently holds 182,000 cycling listings, over 38,000 equestrian items, and over 40,000 outdoor items registered. The program is not limited to these numbers and can continue to grow.

Adamson added: “The number of brands we have coming on board is growing at a phenomenal rate. We already work with all the main cycle, equine and outdoor brands and the list is growing all the time. I think part of that success is that brands and suppliers recognise that AutoSIM maintains the integrity of the data being supplied to retailers, so there’s consistent coverage of each product they supply.”

Independent retailers stock challenges can be eased using the system. Accurate product data can allow retailers to circumvent some of the competition challenges of recent times, allowing them to create bigger margins and reducing the prospect of end-of-season sales.

Adamson said: “This milestone wouldn’t be possible without our partners, whose trust and collaboration have enabled us to bring bands to life. By improving stock visibility, retailers can drive consumer engagement and boost conversions.”

Citrus-Lime is actively looking to help retailers in the UK market, and has offered advice to stores going into 2025.
