CoreBike 2018 drew 1,178 shop staff and press

The organisers of this year’s CoreBike show have told CI.N that 1,178 bike shop staff and press made the journey to this year’s instalment.

Numbers for the 2017 exhibition were not kept, making it hard to compare like-for-like, however this year’s event “had the highest pre-registration against historical data,” according to Stephen Morgan at new organisers Upper Street Events.

Again held on separate weekends to The Bike Place show, many dealers had openly expressed that they would only do one, or none of the shows, given the need to vacate the shop two weeks running. However, the separation doesn’t appear to have harmed either event, with the general consensus among exhibitors at both speaking of a higher quality of conversation and order taking.
