Colorado Medicine of Cycling bike fit conference backed by IBFI
This year’s Medicine of Cycling Conference, set for the USA Cycling headquarters Colorado Springs in August, will once again have the backing of the International Bike Fitting Institute.
The collaboration’s continuation has one goal; to end the era of fitters entering the industry without training and focus on maximizing the knowledge of educated and experienced fitters.
The International Bike Fitting Institute recently announced that it has created a global standard certificate for bike fitters.
Running August 12th to 14th, the Medicine of Cycling conference is the largest of its kind, gathering MDs, paramedics, medical students, NPs, PAs, physical therapists, coaches, bike fitters and soigneurs, each invited to share their views on driving forward the understanding of the practice.
Led by Curtis Cramblett PT, the discussions and presentations focus on anatomic and structural understanding, available tools, learning high and low-tech techniques to serve fitters, medical experts, and coaches at every level. Professionals from pro tour teams and backroom staff are among those lined up for appearance.
You can now register to attend the conference here and you’ll find the conference schedule below.
