Continental Bicycle Tires switches distribution to ZyroFisher
Continental Bicycle Tires has significantly switched up its distribution for the first time in decades, appointing ZyroFisher as a distributor of its complete bicycle product range across Road, Gravel, MTB, and Urban cycling sectors in the UK and Ireland. The distribution arrangement will take effect from 1 June 2025 with current distributor Cambrian Tyres continuing as a Continental bicycle products distributor until 31 May 2025.
The firm said the move reflects its commitment to adapting to changing market conditions and unlocking exciting new opportunities to connect with customers in innovative ways. Working closely with ZyroFisher — recognised for distributing leading cycling brands — will further enhance Continental’s ability to deliver its acclaimed products to riders across all disciplines, it added.
Continental’s portfolio includes best-in-class products trusted by cyclists worldwide for their performance and durability on road, trail and track. Leading innovations, including Black Chili Compound, Urban Taraxagum (a sustainable dandelion-based rubber), and premium construction processes, have solidified Continental’s position.
2025 is set to usher in a wave of new products from Continental across all product areas, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to sustainability, engineering innovation and empowering riders to ride more and perform at their best. Continental will continue its tradition of supporting world-leading athletes and events into 2025 and beyond, including sponsorship of the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia.
Nadine Thompson, CCO, ZyroFisher, said: “We are very proud to partner with Continental as a distributor for the UK and Ireland. Bringing Continental’s excellent products to our customers sits perfectly with our company mission to connect riders with the world’s premium brands. Continental has always been and remains at the forefront of developing tyres and appreciates how decisive the point of contact between the rider and the terrain is. This, coupled with their ongoing commitment to sustainability, is why we can’t wait to further develop Continental’s tyre business across the categories of Road, MTB, Urban / Tour and Gravel.”
Spiridon Spiridonou, Head of Business Field Bicycle Tires, Continental Tires, said: “With ZyroFisher’s proven expertise in the cycling industry and Continental’s unrelenting drive for technological advancement, working with Zyro is set to redefine how premium bicycle tyres reach riders in the UK and Ireland and demonstrate our shared commitment to advancing the sport of cycling at every level. We thank the Cambrian Tyres team for all their support over the last three decades.”
Continental joins ZyroFisher’s portfolio, which grew in H2 last year with Leatt and Gaerne.
