Coronavirus hubs for the bicycle trade – where bike shops and distributors can turn to for advice

A number of key organisations in the cycling industry have set up information and advice hubs for bike shops, distributors and brands operating in the UK… so we decided to list as many of them as we can – a cycling coronavirus hub hub, if you will.  Without further ado:

Firstly, a plug for our own trade-locked Cycling Industry Chat group on Facebook, where thoughts, questions and comments can be aired among industry peers (read our Editor’s thoughts on that here).

The Bicycle Association of Great Britain COVID-19 cycling hub – the BAGB has retailer guidance and an in-depth list of links to statements by cycling organisations.

The Association of Cycle Traders COVID-19 information hub – ACT has a list of FAQs and other resources for cycle retailers including print outs, etc.

Cyclescheme’s COVID-19 hub  – the cycle to work operator has info for bike shops and scheme operators and employers.

Cycling Industries Europe taskforce – CIE has a series of webinars for its members.

British Retail Consortium – the ever-reliable BRC has some more generalist advice for retail operating during the UK’s lockdown, including advice on decontamination in the event of a confirmed case.

And of course, if it’s news you are after, feel free to start with CI.N.
