Easy urban street furniture firm Durbanis takes home Eurobike Gold

A notable winner of the coveted Eurobike Gold Awards handed out over the past week comes from a less than typical source, with easy-install street furniture brand Durbanis scooping the gong.

Requiring just standard bollard installation equipment to feature on the street, Durbanis’s simple design is said to be more secure than most traditional street furniture, which typically requires bolts to be visible on the surface.

The firm’s offering is constructed with a patented material mix, with the interior said to be filled with a “liquid concrete”, while the outer is coated with a soft skin to protect user’s paintwork.
