eBike IoT firm Velco among Taipei Cycle’s inaugural Bike Venture Startup Honourees
Velco, Keego Mobility and 9T Labs are among the 10 startups selected in Taipei Cycle Show’s first ever Bike Venture programme.
The organisers received submissions from businesses in 14 countries to become part of the programme, which includes the Bike Venture Summit, the Innovation Salon and the Startup & Innovation Zone at Taipei Cycle Show 2024.
The premise of Velco is to transform the electric bike into a smart bike. While digital networking has long been standard in the automotive industry, Velco is doing pioneering work in the bicycle industry, integrating Velco IoT (Internet of Things) solutions during the assembly of e-bikes and then connecting them to the software suite and APIs. This benefits manufacturers and brands, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), fleet operators, service companies and, ultimately, all cyclists.
