FFWD shakes up UK & Ireland distribution route, brings in 2 new sales agents
FFWD has appointed two new sales agents for the cycle trade, as the brand changes its approach to the UK and Irish markets.
Dieter Pullan (pictured left) will cover the South of UK, where Richard Staton (right) will focus on the North of the UK, Scotland and Ireland. Both Dieter and Richard are well known in the industry and have many years of experience in representing high-end cycling brands.
Idsart Schipper, general manager FFWD, said: “We’re happy to have found these two great guys to work with. Our focus is to maintain a good relationship with the retailers and believe that working with Dieter and Richard is the way to go!”
FWD added that the UK and Ireland have, since the brand’s early days, been important markets for it. “FFWD has a rich history in that region with successful presence in different categories of cycling. Many cyclists and athletes on the road, track and in triathlon are familiar with FFWD wheels. With the appointment of two new sales agents the FFWD story will be brought to the bike shops across the countries.”
FFWD (Fast Forward wheels) has been fully focused on building wheels since 2006. The broad collection of carbon wheels cover models for Road, Track, Triathlon, Gravel and MTB. All wheels are designed and built in the facility (HQ) in Zwolle, The Netherlands by a team of cycling enthusiasts who all have many years of experience in the cycling industry.
