Flaér shifts direct to dealer and consumer, drops prices

Chain performance brand Flaér has announced that it is to alter its route to market and lower its prices.

Shunting to a direct to dealer and consumer omni-channel model, the Revo Via and Terra (MTB model) device maker will now sell into the UK market at £149.95 and in the US at $199.95. All other product lines remain at the current retail prices.

Flaér Sales Director, Nick Muddle commented: “This new strategic approach is an exciting development for Flaér as it allows us to extend our market reach considerably by making our ground breaking chain performance systems more accessible to the mass market. This change is as a result of dealer and customer feedback combined with a desire to bring chain performance to a wider audience. As part of this change we will support all the dealers that have invested in Flaér stock to allow them to meet the new lower retail price point with their current stock. In addition we will be rolling out an exciting line up of support for grass roots cycling with our new Beta-tester and Ambassador programmes alongside our existing pro-team partnerships”.

This year Flaér has invested in developing its presence in cycling and tri sport with a new partnership with the Spokes Racing Team of Dundee and event partnerships with the Southern XC series and Aberfeldy Triathlon. Flaér are also actively seeking Cycle Club partners as they roll out a new Beta-Tester programme internationally.
