Forme demo centres begin rollout with Sherwood Pines opening

Moore Large’s house bike brand Forme has begun its demo centre rollout with the announcement that its Sherwood Pines centre is up and running.

One of the UK’s largest trail centres, Sherwood Pines offers a plethora of routes for all abilities. Thirty Forme bikes will make up the hire fleet, including the firm’s What Mountain Bike “Trail Bike of the Year” top ten entry the 140mm Lathkill.

Adam Biggs, Head of Division for Forme Bikes, commented, “We believe this venue presents the best testing experience for Forme, accommodating for everything from young cyclists and family trails to unmarked singletrack for the serious cross country or downhill mountain biker. It is also very close to Center Parcs with whom we have a four-year partnership, supplying the hire bike fleet to all their short break villages. Forme also has an association with the new Sherwood Pines Racing Team, full details of which will be released soon.”

Forme’s recently launched Tailor Fit platform will form part of the buying experience and is one of Moore Large’s pivotal features cementing it to specialist retailers. The brand’s collection in store only policy is to help make participating bricks & mortar retailers more competitive by highlighting their advantages.

Earlier this month CyclingIndustry.News carried an in-depth interview with founder Adam Biggs within which he outlined that protecting dealer margin and expansion of the demo centre program would be crucial to the business’s relationship with bike retailers.
