Hiplok has today launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a home security wall mount solution.
Dubbed the Airlok, the Gold Sold Secure rated device utilises a hardened steel framework and a secure lockable bolt to keep bikes safe. The addition of an impact resistant outer casing further prevents access to the framework and fixings.
The patent pending design’s triangular shape allows quick and easy access, securing the bike’s top tube with one of three replaceable coded keys. What’s more, the unit is rubberised, both for aesthetics and to keep your frame scratch free.
Hiplok co-founder, Ben Smith, commented “When we started Hiplok, we set out to solve real world problems encountered by cyclists. To date there hasn’t been a stylish and secure means of storing your bike – the choice has been unsightly ground anchors or beautiful wall hangers with no security. Airlok solves this problem combining top level security with elegant, functional design.”
If you like the look of the Airlok, head to Kickstarter here. The campaign will run for one month and hopes to achieve a fundraising target of £70,000.
