Bike friendly Karcher OC3 washer joins Madison product portfolio
Madison has inked a distribution arrangement with Karcher to carry its most portable “pressure washer”, the OC3.
The unit isn’t a typical pressure washer, running at 5 bar as opposed to the 110 you’d find with the rest of the Karcher portfolio. This makes the system ideal for bike cleaning, with the pressure unlikely to remove much grease from bearings.
Retailing at £129.99, the four-litre capacity is distributed slowly making efficient use of the water. Connections can be made to larger tanks, if required. In line with that, the built-in lithium-ion battery retains a 15 minute charge, giving you more than enough time to clean plenty of bikes.
As well as the unit itself, the OC3 has two additional accessory boxes available: the Adventure Box and the Pet Box. The Adventure Box has an additional Universal Brush, which attaches to the end of the nozzle, meaning you can keep one hand free while washing, and the suction hose so you can use it with larger water tank. The Pet Box has three different accessories – a Cone Nozzle which provides a mist spray making it perfect for animals; a Microfiber drying cloth for toweling down post-wash, and a Fur Brush to help you get that hard-to-remove muck out of your pet’s hair before it sets. Both of these boxes are attachable to the bottom of the unit to provide an easy way to carry the accessories around (and make sure you don’t leave them at home by mistake!). Both boxes are priced at £39.99 each, and all accessories are available to buy individually.

After sales care will be handled by Kärcher directly, and the OC3 comes with a two-year warranty. Price-wise, the OC3 will start at a promotional RRP of £129.99 (SRP £149.99), and units are available to pre-order for Madison’s B2B now, to be shipped on September 1st.
