Lezyne launches Road Drive 500 LED front light
Lezyne has expanded its lighting range with the launch of the Road Drive 500, a compact LED front light designed for road cyclists.
The Road Drive 500 features Lezyne’s See and Be Seen optics, delivering a road-optimised beam pattern and angle to improve both visibility and rider safety. It also includes a disruptive daytime flash mode to increase conspicuity in daylight conditions. The light produces a maximum output of 500 lumens and offers up to 55 hours of runtime on a single charge.
Designed to integrate neatly with modern road bike cockpits, the Road Drive 500 features a low-profile quarter-turn mounting system and is supplied with a GoPro mount adapter for additional installation options. Its ultra-slim CNC-machined aluminium body combines lightweight construction with durability and has been rigorously tested to achieve an IPX7 waterproof rating.
The light is powered by a 1,100mAh battery, which can be recharged via a water-resistant USB-C port, although a charging cable is not included. It is also compatible with the Infinite Light Power Pack XL+ for extended runtime. In line with EU Battery Regulation 2023/1542, the Road Drive 500 features a user-replaceable battery design to support easier maintenance and a longer product lifespan.
Last yer, Lezyne launched the Lezyne Radar React System, a front and rear LED bike light system featuring vehicle detection radar technology and built-in visual and audio alerts. Designed to greatly improve rider visibility, awareness and safety, the Lezyne Radar React System can be used for alerts without the need for a phone app or GPS bike computer after initial setup. Packing a powerful punch, it’s extremely simple to use with its variety of ways to connect and receive alerts, according to the brand.
