As seen at iceBike* 2019, Air Fom has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Madison for the UK and Ireland.
The Tiachung, Taiwan-based brand has a range of foam tyre inserts that are durable, easy to replace, environmentally friendly and replicate the feeling of traditional air-filled tyres.
Designed in the USA and manufactured in Taiwan from quality Japanese materials, the foam inserts allow riders to cycle without fear of punctures and – as the inserts are built in separate sections – if something does break, the section can easily be replaced without having to purchase an entirely new insert.
You can hear Air Fom CEO and Founder Mark Peterman explain the product on our second CIN Podcast.
Air Fom inserts are available in a multitude of sizes for urban/commuter bicycles, e-MTBs and standard MTBs.
Sustainability is important to the brand – the Air Fom inserts are 100% recyclable, says the firm. The materials used are not cross linked, so they can be reprocessed and recycled back to their original form. Packaging is also 100% recyclable, using corrugated paper board and it uses a clean manufacturing process to reduce environmental impact.
Air Fom Brand Director at Madison, Adrian Phillips, said: “Madison is really excited to be distributing Air Fom. We feel this brings a new dimension to the age-old issue of flats and how to stop them. It has lots of far-reaching opportunities from commuter bikes to hire fleets and everything in between.”
Founder and CEO of Air Fom, Mark Peterman, added: “Madison will be our exclusive Distribution Partner covering the important UK market for Air Fom Products. Madison is a premier IBD distributor with a long history of supplying top brands to the UK dealer base and now, Air Fom is a resident in their prestigious house of brands. Madison will receive the Air Fom products in mid Q2 in time for the summer cycling season. Contact Madison for further information on the line of Air Fom products. As always, Air Fom is only available through your local authorised bicycle service and is not sold online.”
