Air Fom announces EU distribution deal with Codagex

Air Fom International has announced Belgium-based distributor Codagex as its first exclusive distribution partner in the EU market.

Codagex will distribute Air Fom’s airless cycling products to the Benelux market, after discussions and user-testing.

Codagex is a premier IBD distributor with a history of supplying brands to the Benelux dealer base, with Air Fom the latest addition to its portfolio.

The distributor will receive Air Fom products towards the end of Q1, in time to ship to IBDs for the spring cycling season.

Air Fom will be exhibiting at Taipei Cycle Show in March, where the business was originally launched by Mark Peterman last year.

The Air Fom product is mounted into an existing tyre by replacing the tube, meaning that no air is present in the tyre when installed. What’s interesting about this product is that it is multi-layer, with two layers for urban and commuting, and three layers for MTB, each with four inserts per tyre.

When the product first launched, CI.N was told that it was a, “precision-moulded, multiple layer, hi-tech foam insert that can be constructed to simulate different pressures.”
