Magura Raceline brakes back in limited quantities

Raceline edition Magura brakes will once again be made available in limited quantities, having largely been the preserve of sponsored athletes.

Special edition MT8 and MT7 Raceline brakes will now be made available to European customers only, with the brand offering the limited edition yellow brakes via Magura Pro Shop dealers on a click & collect basis. Customers can pick up the items and pay for them at the dealer of their choice, first ordering at maguracc.com

The two iterations of the available special edition brakes, shipped to the customer free of charge, are as follows:

MT8 RACELINE
Perfect for cross-country and marathon competitions: super light thanks to the Carbotecture SL housing and an optimal braking feel due to its ergonomic 1-finger HC Carbon lever blade.

Design: Raceline yellow
Weight: 195 g
RRP: 599,80 Euro
(brake set excl. rotors & adapters)

MT7 RACELINE
The clearly defined bite point and maximum braking power make it the first choice for gravity pilots. The 1-Finger HC lever blade modulates the enormous braking power as and when required.
Brake master: Carbotecture SL
Lever blade: 1-finger HC
Pistons: 4
Design: raceline yellow

The Magura Raceline series first rose to fame in the very first Olympic mountain bike race in Atlanta in 1996, piloted by race winner Bart Brentjens and then part of the HS33 series. Today, the brakes are more commonly adorned to the bikes of downhill stars Loic Bruni and Danny Hart or cross country athletes like Elisabeth Brandau and Yana Belomoina.
