Matti Lehikoinen joins Pole Bicycle Company

DH racing star Matti Lehikoinen is joining Pole Bicycle Company full time in marketing and product development, where he will be working alongside Leo Kokkonen.

The Finnish rider is stepping away from racing full time to make the move and as part of the move will also manage Pole’s new Enduro Race Team.

Lehikoinen said: “I have learned a lot about product development over the years, and I see joining the team at Pole Bike as an excellent opportunity for us to push the boundaries even further with the brand that is already one of the most innovative mountain companies out there. I believe that they already have a great line-up of bikes and joining forces, we can make the range even more cutting edge.”

Earlier this year, at the Fort William World Cup, Pole produced an eye brow-raising prototype DH bike.
