Mavic goes exclusive with Chicken Cyclekit for UK cycle trade
Mavic has revealed that Chicken Cyclekit (CCK) will be its new exclusive UK distribution partner for Mavic products.
The partnership will see CCK launch with Mavic at the upcoming COREbike show over 18-20 February, where the UK cycle trade will be able to catch up with the brand ahead of Chicken taking on distribution (effective from the 1 March 2024).
New and existing Mavic stockists will see the additional benefits from this partnership with UK stock holding, next-day deliveries, increased area sales coverage, reduced carriage costs and an onsite Mavic Service Centre.
Mavic will continue to support the UK OEM Business and strategic E-tailer business directly from its HQ in France.
Mavic has been making some eye-catching moves lately, not least with its out-of-leftfield eBike motor last year. It’s also been bolstering its OEM efforts.

Mike Catlin, Commercial Director, and Gary Turner, Sales Director, recently spent time at Mavic HQ to understand the brand and direction for the future. CCK is very committed to offering the best service possible for its retailers; Sales Manager Jason Smith and Area Sales Managers Simon Howes, Alex Sheppard, Paul Wain, have undergone training and visited all the production and testing facilities. Tech Manager Gary Anderson will be up to speed after five days of service centre training.
