Maxxis launches its own sealant for the ever reliable tubeless sector

Tubeless is the sector that keeps giving – regularly identified by bike dealers as a key trend and reason for customers to go into a bike shop – therefore it’s no surprise to see tyre brand Maxxis introduce its first bicycle tyre sealant – MAXX SEAL.

Naturally optimised for the best use with MAXXIS’ own tubeless ready tyres, MAXX SEAL delivers reliable performance across road, gravel , urban usage and all mountain bike disciplines , said the brand, adding it’s also suitable for racing.

MAXX SEAL creates a continuous internal coating inside the tyre casing for reliable and long term protection.

Successfully tested in temperatures between -20° C and + 55° C the synthetic latex formula remains active between refills and is engineered not to form clumps. No matter the weather conditions, it will work and seal s tire damages up to 7 mm size.

Ammonia-free and skin-safe, MAXX SEAL is safe for both tyre casing and rim materials. It is also compatible with CO2 inflation and tire inserts, giving riders and workshops an easy and versatile solution for m odern tubeless setups.

MAXX SEAL comes in recycled PET bottles in three different sizes 250 ml, 500 ml and 1 Litre, or in a 5 Litre HDPE canister, ideal for the workshop.

MAXX SEAL will be available from early August 2026 at your local bike shop.
