Pearson Cycles brings in new Sales Manager & unveils fit data-driven bike
Steve Boucher has joined Pearson Cycles to head up its sales strategy as Sales Manager, joining from Temple Cycles.
Pearson Cycles – reportedly the oldest bike business in the world – has two new launches already for this year, including the Forge and Around the Outside.
Built from the ground up, purely using bike fit data, The Forge (pictured) is a curated bike that fits the rider without sacrificing ride quality or aesthetics, said the firm. Having conducted bike fittings for over 2,000 riders over the years, Pearson has analysed the collective fit data and channelled it into what it said is its most rider-led bike to date and most data-driven geometry ever conceived for regular road riders. The Forge is three years in the making and drawing on many more years’ experience and data.
Around The Outside (pictured below) is an expedition adventure bike built around Pearson’s titanium frame design. Using geometry using proprietary Pearson House Design (Phd), its carefully balanced to provide an optimum sustainably riding position. Multiple luggage mounts, high quality titanium tubesets, threaded oversized bottom bracket and suspension and handlebar options, Around The Outside is capable of fitting 2-inch tyres.

Last year, Pearson Cycles named suicide prevention organisation CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) as its official charity partner.
