Pierer New Mobility streamlines, pulling out of UK and Germany

There’s further tough news for the start of 2025 with Pierer New Mobility (PNM) announcing it will be realigning its operations to streamline business activities and reduce inventory. That translates to the group “systematically phasing out” current regional activities in South Africa, Germany and the United Kingdom.

The company will consolidate its operational functions (including Customer Service, Marketing and Sales) at its headquarters in Munderfing, Austria, and Murrieta, California, USA. From these two locations, PNM will manage its global business operations.

The move does not affect Felt, PNM noted, with that company continuing to operate as an independent entity with its unique identity and market presence.

PNM said it will focus its activities on Husqvarna E-Bicycles, and GASGAS Bicycles.

“As part of the strategic realignment, PNM is also working to process existing inventory to the maximum degree. During this transition phase, daily business for customers will continue as usual. There will be no disruptions in the delivery of spare parts and accessories or in customer service.”

It was only in 2023 that PNM began to ramp up its presence in the UK, then coming off the back of record breaking results in ’22.
