Raleigh reveals Saturday delivery competition winners
Taking place over the Easter weekend, Raleigh UK ran a competition offering independent bike shops the chance to win one of three Apple iPad’s in conjunction with its new Saturday delivery service.
The brand then delivered the prizes to the winning shops: Royston Cycles, Leek Cycles and Silvester Brothers.
Royston Cycles said: “I have been a customer of Raleigh for 25 years, free delivery helps me offer my customers great service without hitting my margin, Saturday delivery is great for last minute repairs and sales, winning the iPad was a real bonus.”
Leek Cycles was equally impressed: “Can’t believe it, awesome prize, never win anything, real winner is Saturday delivery which helps my business.”
Meanwhile, Silvester Brothers praised the Saturday delivery initiative: “Raleigh’s 9pm cut off and Saturday delivery helps to improve our customer satisfaction, allowing us to fulfil last minute repair jobs and orders. Friday nights are no longer an issue, as we can order our customers’ urgent parts, enabling them to get back of their bikes for the weekend!”
Raleigh has announced ambitious plans to support the IBD network by offering the best support, brands and logistics, with local shops encouraged to look out for more competitions like this over the course of the year.
Saturday delivery is available on parts, accessories and bikes with a cut off time of 6pm on Fridays for Saturday delivery in mainland UK. The brand’s Parts and Accessories Partner scheme offers dealers greater margin on key brands, free delivery six days a week and access to rebates in a bid to help IBDs grow.
