Handmade outdoor accessory brand, Restrap, will launch its 2019 bag range specifically for folding bicycles at Eurobike show in September.
The range has been designed to ensure all the bags work with the unique folding mechanism of most folding bikes, which are becoming an increasingly popular choice for commuters. Brompton boss Will Butler-Adams recently explained why on the CI.N Podcast.
The range consists of four small and versatile accessory bags which will be on show at stand 208 in Hall B2 at Eurobike next month.
City Bar bag
Made from Cordura and nylon waterproof fabrics, Restrap’s City Bag has been designed to fit the M and H Brompton handlebar. Tape sealed ensures the bag is totally waterproof and ideal for carrying small items such as mobile phones, keys and wallet.
Straight Bar bag
Crafted from Cordura and tape sealed with a roll-top, the Straight Bar is 100% waterproof (according to Restrap). This bag fits any bike, and can be mounted either behind or in front of the handlebars to expand carrying capacity.
City Stem bag
The City Stem fits any folding bicycle, and is again constructed from Cordura and nylon waterproof fabrics. This bag provides an easy and simple solution for carrying a bottle or snacks, phone and other accessories. Since the bag moves with the stem, it doesn’t impact the folding mechanism.
The City Saddle-bag also fits any folding bicycle and is again made from Cordura and nylon waterproof fabrics. The bag comes in two sizes to accommodate a range of gear, from clothing to off the bike footwear and tools.
Both sizes are tape sealed and completely waterproof, and the bag comes with an extendable bottom strap to easily fit around the suspension block on all Bromptons.
Restrap will be displaying the new range at next month’s Eurobike show, taking place 4-7 September in Friedrichshafen where over 1,300 exhibitors from 50 countries are expected to attend.
Restrap is distributed by BLB Big Mama in the UK.
