Sea Otter Classic has announced new dates, with the event now taking place between 1-4 October 2020.
Other than the date changes, the location and racing schedules for Sea Otter will remain essentially the same.
The show, which was due to take place next month at the Leguna Seca Raceway in Monteray, California, was postponed amid concerns surrounding the recent Covid-19 outbreak.
According to the organisers, all race registrations, camping reservations, festival purchases and so forth will be shifted to the new October dates. Those unable to attend the rescheduled event should check the show’s FAQ page for details regarding refunds and rollovers.
Sea Otter Classic isn’t the only trade event to have shifted its dates as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, with the Taipei Cycle show shunted back to May (14-16) and the Bespoked Bristol Handmade Show also moving its dates back to October (16-18). The 2020 instalment of Mountain Mayhem has also been postponed until 2021, with organisers citing the Government’s new advice on crowd gatherings as its reason for cancelling.
