Specialized taking on counterfeiters using eBay, Wish and AliExpress

Specialized has filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for Southern Florida against suspected counterfeiters selling online.

Alleging trademark infringement, Specialized has brought the case against sellers in-style1820, sanshand2012, 2101272 et al. These sellers are alleged to be selling Specialized branded goods across eBay, AliExpress and mobile shopping app Wish.com.

Specialized are calling for a stop to infringements, payment of profits and damages, all legal fees and interest, as well as any other compensation the court rules necessary.

Back in March €9 million Euro of counterfeit goods was removed from circulation from brands linked with the World Federation of Sporting Goods Industries.
