Squid Bikes enters Europe with Brick Lane Bikes distribution

Bespoke cyclocross, dirt and oversized BMX frame manufacturer, Squid Bikes, has entered into Europe in partnership with Brick Lane Bikes and its trade-only branch, Bigmama.

Launched at last weekend’s Bespoke Bike show in Bristol, Squid will now have representation within Europe allowing riders and shops to purchase frames, bikes and personalised colourways easily and quickly.

Squid’s current frames include: The Squidcross, used in this year’s UCI World Cyclocross Championships by the ‘Squid Squad’; the FOJ, the brand’s take on the modern hardtail; and Shred to Ed’s BMX frame.

All frames are completed without paint, allowing riders to paint them themselves or get the Squid team to paint them to one of their four spray-to-order designs using any of Spray.Bike’s 48 colours.

Emily Kachorek, one of Squid’s founders, said: “We’re really pleased to be working with Brick Lane Bikes and Bigmama – they’ve got some great connections across Europe and work with some of the best brands – Spray.bike, Phil Wood and Paul Components, Fyxation Forks and Velocity Rims – so we know we’re in good hands!”
