Endura launches MT500 protection range

Endura has updated its protection range, launching its latest helmets, apparel and protectors as worn by pros on the MTB circuit.

MT500MT500 Full Face Helmet

Featuring Koroyd® technology, the brand’s new MT500 Full Face Helmet is the first to use the technology’s advanced energy absorption to bring full head and face protection for enduro, downhill and bike park riders into its expanding helmet offering. Large vents and air intake zone, alongside fast wicking padding, ensures comfort for the rider.

The full Koroyd® core produces a light, fully DH certified full face with a unique chinbar construction built around an internal skeleton which provides strength without excessive weight (M/L weighs in at 640 g).

Koroyd® technology uses tens of thousands of co-polymer extruded tubes which are thermally welded into a fully engineered core. Upon impact, the tube structure crumples instantly and consistently, absorbing more force with greater predictability compared to other helmet technology, according to Endura.

The MT500 is available in three sizes, with fit fit able to be fine-tuned with the one-handed micro-adjustment fit system and multiple anchor points for the rear retention system. It comes in forest green/black colourway and comes backed with a 90 day satisfaction guarantee and Endura’s crash replacement policy and product guarantee.

The helmet is ASTM F1952 certified and meets CE Standard EN1078:2012 + 1 A1:2012.

MT500 Pads & Protector Undershorts

Developed in collaboration with the Atherton trio, Endura’s MT500 Pads and Protector Undershorts provide certified MTB protection for downhill or trail riding.

The brand’s MT500 Hard Shell and Lite Knee Pads feature the latest D3O® inserts to provide lightweight, breathable and shock absorbing protection, while the extended side PU foam padding gives lateral impact protection. Available in sizes S-M and L-XL, the Hard Shell Knee Pad is certified to meet CE EN 1621/1 standards.

The MT500 Lite Pad provides lightweight MTB protection, also with D3O® technology, partnered with highly vented geometry to increase the insert’s breathability by 45% whilst retaining ENTH1612-1:2012 level 1 certification. Side PU foam padding delivers further impact protection while the jacquard loop system provides a secure comfort fit. The Lite Pad comes in sizes S-M and L-XL.

The MT500 Undershorts also feature tough but flexible D3O® inserts on the hips, lower leg and tailbone areas, and are made from a durable nylon Lycra fabric. The brand’s 500 Series Mountain, stretch antibacterial pad with breathable reticulated foam provides comfort for all day riding. All seams are flat locked for toughness and comfort, partners with a seamless front crotch and jacquard soft touch waistband and hem gripper.

The MT500 Full Face Helmet is expected to arrive in stock mid-July and that samples are currently not available, while the MT500 Hardshell Knee Pad, MT500 Lite Knee Pad, and MT500 Protector Short are already available.
