SRAM reshuffles global sales team with new leadership appointments

SRAM has announced a reshuffle of its global sales team, including new leadership appointments and upcoming retirements.

Paul Kantor (pictured left), currently Road Category Director at SRAM, will become Vice President of Sales and lead the company’s global OE and aftermarket sales team. He will succeed John Nedeau, who has announced his retirement after 33 years with the company, including 20 years as Vice President of Sales.

Over the coming months, Kantor will transition from his current role, which he has held for the past decade.

SRAM stated that Kantor brings a strong technical background to the position. Having joined from Avid, he spent many years leading disc brake development and played a key role in establishing SRAM’s brake portfolio for progressive mountain and road applications. In 2018, he took leadership of SRAM’s entire dropbar portfolio, helping to develop it into one of the company’s most innovative categories.

“Through years of steady leadership, John has built trusted relationships across the industry and helped shape how SRAM collaborates with our OE and aftermarket partners worldwide,” said Ken Lousberg, CEO of SRAM. “As he enters retirement, we thank him for the passion and excellence he brought to SRAM every day.”

In addition, Dirk Gerbes, Director of OE Sales Europe, will retire in July 2026. He began transitioning operational responsibilities at the end of March and will continue in an advisory role through July. SRAM has appointed Jacco de Kluijver (pictured right) as his successor.

De Kluijver joins from Genie, a manufacturer of aerial work platforms, bringing experience in international sales leadership, commercial strategy and business development. He will relocate from the Netherlands to Germany and work from SRAM’s Schweinfurt and Düsseldorf offices from 8 June 2026.
