SRAM revamps suspension platform with new RockShox Signature Series

SRAM has today launched its long-awaited and newly-revamped line of suspension products, the MY20 RockShox Signature Series.

The series features Select, Select+ and Ultimate versions of the new SID, Pike, Lyrik and BoXXer forks, and its Deluxe and Super Deluxe shocks.

Internal tech improvements are in abundance across the new series, led by the Rockshox’s new and improved Charger 2.1 Damper, which has been completely re-designed to reduce hand fatigue and unwanted friction. A newly-designed piston wearband improves trail tracking, while an all-new SKF rod seal decreases friction by over 30% at the rebound shaft, eliminating friction and reducing unwanted fatigue.

SRAM’s partnership with SKF, which has been ongoing for over five years, continues to provide the new series with ultra-low friction wiper seals, less fatigue and improved suspension feel, while keeping dirt out.

The series utilises Maxima Plush Fluid, developed with racers on the world circuit, designed to protect from suspension wear, reduce friction and silence damper noise, whilst maintaining a consistent feel in all temperatures.

The Rockshox Series is designed to meet the needs of any trail or terrain, and with 12 variations of front suspension and 15 rear shock options, the new line provides riders with a huge range of off-road choice to meet their riding demands.
