Taipei Cycle sets 2019 dates for March 27th to 30th

At a press conference held on Eurobike’s opening day the Taiwan Bicycle Association has announced a return to March dates.

Leaving just five months between the later than usual October 2018 dates (October 30th through November 3rd), the TBA made the decision in a June meet that buyers and OEMs would be more inclined to visit a March event to see early prototype goods before perhaps attending Eurobike and latterly Taichung Bike Week to see the finished article.

The 2019 exhibition will take place in the Nangang Exhibition Centre, which will run at a slightly reduced capacity in 2019, offering space for around 3,400 booths. By 2020 the organisers expect to have back full booking control at the venue, reverting to a space able to accommodate 4,500 booths. In 2019, hall 1 of Nangang’s centre and Hall 3 of Taipei’s World Trade Centre will be used to house the show.

The 2019 event will also be held in conjunction with the Taipei International Sporting Goods Show, running March 28th to 30th at Halls 1 and 3 of the TWTC.
