Tiny Cyclemate camera and projector uploads to mobile on the fly for instant viewing

A compact new take on the cycling camera, dubbed the CycleMate, is set for market.

The brainchild of designer Youngmu Lee, the device builds in wifi, removing the need for a computer or television for playback. Its modular design offers a fast-connect handlebar holder, stereo speakers, shooting caps, a projector and compact portable camera – all held together magnetically.

Removing the need to upload footage the camera automatically uploads to a dedicated mobile phone app, meaning the footage will be ready to view by the time you step off the bike, as well as shared.

The built in projector further allows a unique take on replay.
