Velobrands to debut B2B sales insight tool to help bike dealers drive sales

Velobrands has told CI.N that it has created a powerful new Business Insight tool, set to draw on nationwide sales data and capable of helping dealers “do what the online giants do, but on the High Street.”

The distributor’s PR connection Jamie Edwards told us this morning: “Velobrands has assessed how distribution is functioning and how people buy product and concluded there are improvements to be had. Their new software takes out some of the guesswork in predicting sales patterns by analysing nationwide sales data, even taking into account seasonality and making it available as a customer insight. The perks are better stock in knowledge and chance of profits, as well as a likely improved stock turn.”

Whilst sales advice isn’t anything new, VeloBrands are confident that this new approach offers support that retailers won’t find anywhere else in the bike industry. It has come following significant investment in analysis of robust sales data, business intelligence and software development.

VeloBrands partner and MD Will Miles told us: “It’s not enough to just ship products out of a warehouse in today’s bike industry. You need to be the very best supplier that you can be and you need to work with your retail partners to help them be the best that they can be.

“We’ve invested to make life easier for our partners – we want them to be confident when they place their orders. We want them to see great results and to be comfortable to give us their business. We want to help small businesses work in ways that big businesses do – in ways that they haven’t been able to until now”.

The distributor, whose brand roster includes Kask, Juice Lubes, Chapeau! and Pacenti, will soon demo the software on its booth (32C) at The Bike Place Show, for which dealers can sign up here.
