Velofresh launches into cycling’s personal care arena
A new British-made personal care brand, dubbed Velofresh, has launched with a view to becoming a ride essential for the jersey pocket.
Delivered in a resealable packet of 15, Piers and Val O’Neill’s new business is selling packets at £2.99 a pop and considering branching into bike shops up and down the country.
Speaking to CyclingIndustry.news, O’Neill said: “The bespoke formulation is made specifically for our requirements and are designed to resolve the common niggles a mum encounters when taking kids for a day out in the saddle. One such niggle that I failed to resolve ‘off the shelf’ was a solution to those messy en-route mechanicals that saw my kids return home to me often covered in grime and oil.”
A further four products are now being developed, each anticipated to launch before the end of the year. These are likely to include a massage cream, anti-septic wipes and a sunscreen SPF30 product, we’re told.
