Yellow Jersey announce business insurance covering bike shops, tour firms and mechanics
Cycling insurance specialist Yellow Jersey has this morning revealed an extension of its services to cover bicycle businesses, as well as individual bike and travel insurance.
Launched in 2014 by three brothers Ryan, Scott and Grant Georgiades, the company has had repeated requests to expand its offering to cover businesses. As a result Yellow Jersey are now able to cover:
- Bicycle shops
- Cycle tour operators
- Cycle and triathlon event organisers
- Mobile bicycle mechanics
- Professional athletes
- Pro and amateur cycling teams
- Wholesalers & manufacturers
Set to appear at this weekend’s The Bike Place show, (running until Tuesday afternoon) Yellow Jersey will be introducing visitors to the new cover, which has already been taken out by the likes of Team Wiggins, Canyon Eisberg, Nirvana Europe and Castle Triathlon Series, as well as a range of shops and tour operators.
Managing Director of Yellow Jersey, Ryan Georgiades commented: “Since we launched Yellow Jersey in 2014 we have been building our contacts in the business community in the hope that we could establish enough of an opportunity to launch Yellow Jersey Business Insurance. Alongside my two brothers, Scott and Grant, our family business has over 25 years’ experience arranging bespoke business insurance policies and we have built on this knowledge and experience to launch a unique offering for the cycling and triathlon industries.
“We take great pride in our personal approach and will take the time to speak to each company individually in order to ensure we are arranging the most comprehensive, yet cost effective cover available on the market. We have found that companies often renew their business insurance without checking what new cover is available so we look forward to speaking with cycling and triathlon businesses to see is we can help develop their business opportunities.”
Should you be at the show on Sunday, the insurance provider is also offering a free trip to the local brewery post show for which you can sign up here.
