Amer Cycling Group formed to represent both Mavic and Enve

Amer Sports has announced the formation of the Amer Cycling Group, a new cycling specific sales and service team dedicated solely to Mavic and ENVE.

Cycling industry veteran Ronnie Points will lead the group’s efforts as the Director of Sales, North America.

“These two brands stand on their own and they always will. We’re absolutely committed to preserving and building on the unique values that both Mavic and ENVE represent,“ said Points. “They also work well together and following an extensive review and survey process, it became clear that we can offer our dealer network and customers more value by creating a service team that has the full strength of both ENVE and Mavic at its disposal.”

The move is primarily to assist the brand’s dealerbase, who will now contact a single customer service team at ENVE’s Ogden, UT headquarters. Staff on the other end of the line will be trained with a high level of product and service knowledge.

A sales force representing both brands will also simplify and streamline dealer processes, training and support with territories and responsibilities slightly changing under the new structure.

Regional Sales Manager Jason Vivion and Inside Service Lead Tyler Eyres join Ronnie Points in leadership roles.

Amer bought ENVE back in February for $50 million in cash.
