Bike shop for sale: London eBike retailer Velorution up for grabs

Velorution, one of London’s most established premium urban and electric bike retailer of 20 years, is for sale.

Originally a small store near Oxford Circus, the business now trades online, and from four sites in the capital: Marylebone, Islington, Chelsea and Hackney. It has also been known to run ‘store-in-store’ projects with notable retailers like Fenwicks.

Pitched as a pioneer of eBikes, lifestyle and urban cycling, Velorution has an extensive customer database, so says the sales blurb. Last year, the retailer launched an in-store recharge scheme for eBikes,
