BMC Bikes will retail via Cycle Republic, Tredz and online at cyclerepublic.com the retail giant has announced this morning.
UPDATE: ZyroFisher has now confirmed the deal is non-exclusive and that independent stores are still welcome to enquire about stockist terms.
Transformed by Andy Rihs until his passing in 2018, the brand continues to enjoy great success at the top tier of pro cycling, notably in the Tour de France and at numerous World Championships.
Rihs is credited with leading the charge to create a purpose-built carbon production facility for the brand. The R&D team continue to develop concept bikes through their in-house Impec laboratory.
Across both retailers stock will consist of over 30 bikes from Road, MTB, Gravel, Hybrid and Electric with exclusive access to the Alpenchallenge Hybrid bikes. The flagship model available is BMC’s fastest bike ever produced, the Timemachine 01 Road One as developed with advanced tube profiling to maximise aerodynamic performance.
Cycle Republic and Tredz Bikes Managing Director, Peter Kimberley, commented: “The pride, precision and quality engineering created from this brand is outstanding and something I am proud to retail across both performance cycling businesses. This has been a huge effort from all parties to develop this partnership at pace, something I am looking forward to developing over the coming months”.
ZyroFisher Sales Director Damon Smith added, “This is an exciting new chapter for ZyroFisher which will help us increase the distribution of premium, high end bikes. This new partnership will help us deliver a key part of our strategy to grow BMC across the UK market. We’re thrilled to be working with Cycle Republic and Tredz Bikes”.
Stock lands with Cycle Republic as of next month.
