Coros Wearables appoints Ben Clark to manage UK market

Ben Clark has joined Coros Wearables Inc. as its UK Market Manager.

Focusing on various marketing activities, Ben will primarily be working with athletes, ambassadors, review writers and the wider media to create brand-building opportunities.

Ben will predominantly be working for the sports-watch side of the business, which creates high-quality watches and fitness trackers for all disciplines of running, trail running and everything in-between.

For the cycling market, Coros Wearables produces a smart helmet that pairs with a handlebar mounted remote, enabling the rider to control call and audio functions. Attached to the strap is an innovative sound system that uses bone conduction technology to bypass the eardrum entirely. Music streams via tiny vibrations in the cheekbones; You’ll still hear it loud and clear, but you’ll also hear much more traffic sound, says Coros.

Other features include in built lighting and an SOS emergency alert system that will alert a list of contacts to your location, should the helmet detect a crash. At the same time the tail light begins to emit a distinct and attention grabbing flashing pattern.

Ben is a keen runner and cyclist, who has a growing interest in long-distance cycle touring; as last year he rode from Exeter to Santander, and North Wales to Berlin the previous year.
