Cycle Show backers put on free August eBike Demo Weekend
The organisers of the Cycle Show and London eBike Festival are to ease back into public events with an eBike Demo weekend, set for Alexandra Palace on the weekend starting August 14th.
Described as a “taster” for the full on April 2022 event, also to be held at Alexandra Palace, the introduction to e-Bikes will be set alongside a test track that will form the basis of a fine-tuned event for the future.
For the consumer, the event is a rare chance to test a plethora of bikes at one venue, but more than that, to be able to do so for free on a first come, first served basis. Priority tickets are also available for £5 to guarantee your ride. There will be a registration system in place for timed sessions so the organisers can manage footfall at peak periods.
Ensuring there is something for all the family, kids can also put a range of Squish Bikes to the test around a short kids-only track alongside the Demo Village.
Labels confirmed to exhibit at the eBike Demo weekend are Brompton, Ridgeback, Saracen, Dawes, Falcon, Specialized, Cannondale, Tern, Apache, Gazelle, Wisper, Electrify, ARCC, Angell.bike, Revolutionworks, Chill eBikes, Volt, Moustache, Gocycle, MiRiDER, Riese & Muller and Urban Arrow.
Free bike parking is available at the venue for those arriving on two wheels, while car drivers have 1,300 spaces.
The eBike Demo Weekend is organised by Immediate Live, the trading name for Upper Street Events and River Street Events. For more information on the Cycle Show visit www.cycleshow.co.uk. For more information on the London eBike Festival powered by Shimano Steps, visit www.londonebikefestival.co.uk
