DAHON to showcase four folding bikes at CIN LIVE 2026
DAHON will showcase four folding bikes at CIN LIVE 2026, including the Mariner HD, Mariner D8, Lunden GR and Hemingway GR.
The Mariner HD (pictured above) addresses an underserved market for riders needing greater load capacity without sacrificing the convenience of a folding bike. Supporting up to 150 kg (330 lbs), its aluminium K-frame is validated for 50% higher loads than standard city bike requirements, while the handlepost is tested at 30% higher loads and over 100,000 stress cycles ensure durability.
It features DAHON-V Tech, incorporating a patented DELTECH cable and Super Down Tube to enhance frame rigidity and power transfer, while the Shimano 8-speed drivetrain provides practical gearing for everyday riding.
The Mariner D8 (pictured below) is designed as an entry-level option for urban commuters seeking a versatile folding bike that combines compact dimensions with everyday ride performance and durability.
Built around a 20-inch wheel platform, the Mariner D8 features DAHON’s patented DELTECH cable system, which increases frame stiffness by 15%, alongside a Super Down Tube designed to improve longitudinal and lateral rigidity by 10%. A Shimano Altus 8-speed drivetrain and CST C1959 20 × 1.5-inch tyres complete the specification.
Anti-corrosion components also make the bike suitable for coastal environments and riders regularly exposed to salt air. Weighing 12.6 kg, the Mariner D8 folds down to 83 × 35 × 67 cm for storage or transport on trains, in car boots or under a desk. It has a maximum payload of 105 kg.
The Lunden GR (pictured below) is a tri-fold bicycle designed to combine compact portability with the versatility to handle city streets, light gravel paths and varied surfaces.
DAHON-V Tech enhances frame and fork stiffness to improve power transfer, stability and responsiveness, with a direct headtube-to-bottom-bracket linkage, reinforced seatstays and forged dropouts further strengthening the frame. The bike is equipped with a Shimano 8-speed internal hub for smooth, low-maintenance shifting, while 20 × 2.0-inch tyres provide traction and vibration absorption across different surfaces.
A Dynamic Suspension System allows the damping to be adjusted to suit changing road conditions. The D2D Stem enables handlebar height and angle adjustment, while dual-locking grips and the Internal V-Quick Lock system provide a secure riding position. An adjustable multi-segment seatpost completes the package.
Lastly, the Hemingway GR (pictured below) is aimed at riders looking for a folding bike that can venture beyond paved roads, combining DAHON’s compact folding design with gravel-ready capability.
Built around a lightweight aluminium F-frame, it uses DAHON-V Tech, incorporating the patented DELTECH cable and Super Down Tube, to increase frame rigidity, improve power transfer and enhance handling across varied terrain. A 9-speed drivetrain with a 52T chainring and 11–32T cassette provides a versatile range for both flat roads and climbs, while Schwalbe Billy Bonkers multi-terrain tyres are designed to provide grip on gravel, packed dirt and urban streets. With a 105 kg maximum load capacity, the Hemingway GR can also be easily transported to trailheads or stored at home.
