Diary date: Hotlines’ MY19 bike launch hits the Peebles Hotel
Hotlines will on Thursday August 30th invite its dealer accounts to the first showing of its model year 2019 bikes.
Set on the beautiful Scottish Borders, the distributor has booked out the Peebles Hydro Hotel for the event, for which it is inviting stores to register here. Shops can also ring through their attendance on 0131 319 1444 up until Friday 17th of August.
This is the first opportunity for many in the trade to view the MY19 bicycle ranges from Nukeproof, Wilier, Ghost, NS Bikes, Lynskey, Rondo, Niner, Fuji and more. Brand representatives will also be on hand throughout the event to guide dealers through the new ranges and answer questions.
Fuji is said to be a ‘blank canvas‘ opportunity for bike shops seeking a new bike brand for the shop floor. The brand is offering no MOQ delivery and free shipping.
Pictured below, as papped at Eurobike’s Media Days event, is Rondo’s HVRT aero disc bikes, a particular highlight of this year’s Hotlines catalogue.
Thanks to the unique TWINTIP fork you can change your position and adjust the steering character of the bike. The first setting with steeper angles, smaller trail and a lower riding position will be the choice for racing. The alternative fork setting, that fits big tyres and/or fenders, with slightly slacker angles is ideal for harsh, long endurance training or racing.
The HVRT also offers the option to use big volume 700c rubber, or even mount massive road plus tires on 650b hoops, ultimately transforming the HVRT into a road plus pothole slayer and comfy training bike.
