Former Cycling Commissioner Andrew Gilligan has this afternoon revealed the shortlist for his successor, who will also now oversee walking in the UK capital.
Speaking on Twitter, Mr Gilligan narrowed the final pool of candidates to five names:
CyclingIndustry.News had previously learned that the appointment was originally expected to have been made by the start of November. Mr Gilligan has since confirmed to CyclingIndustry.News that the appointment will now take place in the new year.
The job is this time a Transport for London role, as opposed to one with City Hall.
