Gazelle expands eBike line-up with new Avignon and updated Ultimate Series

Dutch eBike specialist Gazelle has expanded its line-up with the new Avignon series and the renewed Ultimate series.

Designed for riders who value ease and elegant styling, the new Avignon range focuses on maximum comfort with Gazelle’s signature upright riding position and flowing frame design. The line-up includes three models: the C380+, C380 and C5. The flagship C380+ stands out with Bosch’s new Performance Line PX motor, offering 85 Nm of torque, upgradeable to 90 Nm, and Enviolo Automatiq automatic shifting for effortless transitions.

The C380 features the same Bosch PX motor paired with stepless Enviolo gearing, delivering infinitely smooth shifts. For riders seeking everyday practicality, the C5 combines the quiet Bosch Performance Line motor (75 Nm) with a robust Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub, providing reliable power and simplicity at a more accessible price point.

A low, wide step-through frame makes mounting easy, while integrated cables, lighting and a clean finish reinforce the Avignon’s premium look. The series also boasts extra-wide tyres, leather grips, a gel saddle and a specially designed suspension fork that together provide a remarkably smooth ride. A durable Gates belt drive ensures quiet, low-maintenance performance, while the Kiox 500 colour display offers clear navigation and ride data via Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can choose between 540, 600 or 800 Wh batteries for extended range, while Gazelle Protect GPS tracking offers enhanced security through smartphone integration.

Alongside the Avignon series, Gazelle has also refreshed the Ultimate range, which combines sleek design, sporty performance and high comfort, making it ideal for touring and long-distance rides.

The Ultimate C380 offers a refined touring experience, powered by the Bosch Performance Line PX motor delivering up to 90 Nm of torque. Its Enviolo stepless shifting system and Gates belt drive ensure quiet, low-maintenance operation, while the integrated battery system — available in 540, 600 or 800 Wh capacities and expandable with an optional Bosch Powermore 250 — provides ample range for extended adventures.

The Ultimate T11 takes a more versatile approach, pairing the Bosch PX motor with a Shimano XT 11-speed derailleur and wide Schwalbe knobby tyres, making it equally at home on steep climbs and gravel tracks. Meanwhile, the Ultimate C5+ offers an urban-touring balance with the Bosch Performance Line motor (75 Nm) and a Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub, ideal for daily commuting or leisurely countryside rides.

All models feature premium touches such as an air-suspension fork, suspension seatpost and adjustable stem for a tailored fit. Smartphone mounts and Bosch’s large Kiox 300 or 500 displays keep riders connected and informed, while the integrated design maintains a sleek and streamlined appearance.
