Hayes Performance Systems has hired Roderick Riquier as European Site Manager, effective 1 April 2020, to strengthen its European business.
Riquier has an MBA from European University in Munich and is an avid cyclist and powersport enthusiast. Prior to joining the team, he was a Department Manager at Decathlon in Munich, responsible for staffing, purchasing, forecasting, customer service and more. At Hayes, Riquier oversees the Munich warehouse and customer service in Europe, including tech and warranty support. One of his main goals will be to improve inventory availability and on-time delivery to better serve Distributor and OEM partners. Besides this he will concentrate on continually evolving and improving Technical Service and Warranty capabilities.
Riquier will also be responsible for strengthening Customer Care, including implementing a new business-to-business website.
“We have had significant changes to our business over the past year, most notably the addition of the Reynolds brand to our portfolio,” said Darren Campbell, President Hayes Bicycle Group. “Roderick will help evolve our distribution and service capabilities to better support all EMEA customers. We are very excited to have him on-board.”
Christian Bartik who headed up the Hayes Europe tech team will take on a new role as Market Support Manager – EMEA. Bartik will mainly focus on customer engagement, technical training and education on service procedures and product. He will also work with distributors and external service centres to stay current with updated procedures and products. Finally, Bartik will continue to support and attend a variety of customer and consumer events. Christian’s previous, internal responsibilities for warranty management will be transitioned to Roderick Riquier.
