i-Ride to carry Vredestein tyre portfolio

Sussex bicycle distributor i-Ride has announced that it will distribute the Vredestein tyre portfolio in the UK.

In the tyre business for more than a 100 years, Vredestein manufactures its premium tyre in the heart of Europe. The firm’s international R&D Centre in Enschede develops and tests tyres to make sure that they are performing as designed across the harshest simulated and real-world conditions.

Out on the pro circuit Cadel Evans and Robbie McEwen scooped stages of the Tour de France using the firm’s Fortezza tyres; a flagship of the road range. These days Vredestein provide tyres to some of the biggest teams in the professional peloton including the AG2R La Mondiale team.

Bike shops will be handed access to much more than tarmac tyres, however, Vredestein has a catalogue spanning MTB, touring, city and even electric bike specific rubber.
