Ibis Cycles Inc. to ship directly to UK dealers
Ibis Cycles has announced a change to its operations within the UK and Ireland markets, following the insolvency of its former distributor 2Pure Ltd.
Effective August 1st, 2023, Ibis will begin shipping its products directly from Santa Cruz to dealers in the UK and Ireland, with the aim of better serving its valued dealers in the region.
This will give dealers access to the complete product line, world class sales and warranty service and substantially lower prices on all products. Shipping time is 5-7 days, with free freight and duty.
In making the announcement the brand also introduced Tony Barton as its Country Representative for the UK and Ireland, highlighting that Tony brings with him a wealth of experience in the industry and an in-depth understanding of the Ibis brand and market dynamics in the region.
“I am looking forward to working closely with our friends and dealers in the UK and Ireland,” said Tony.
With better pricing, direct shipping and a dedicated team in place, Ibis are looking to increase their market share.
August 1st, 2023, will see the full dealer package – containing pricing, marketing materials, and guidelines – being made available to all registered Ibis dealers in the UK and Ireland. Additionally, dealers will have access to the Ibis B2B website which provides real-time product availability and ordering in pounds sterling.
The brand has recently seen UCI MTB WC racing success, with the ‘Made in America’ Exie, ridden by Jenny Rissveds, taking the top step of the podium at Lenzerheide.
