Orbea cancels demo schedule

Orbea is taking the decision to suspend all demo events in the UK and Ireland while the country moves to contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

“We feel it would be irresponsible to facilitate such events which bring so many people together and increases the risk of cross-infection,’ says Damian Hackett, Orbea UK and Ireland Country Manager.

“We will reschedule all pending events once the situation has been contained and we are back to normal operations. We hope our dealers and customers will understand”.

While the Orbea business has surged in recent years, the firm will have been among those affected by the proposed demise of Cycle Republic, revealed yesterday.
