MAGURA expands distribution of Supernova lights to UK, Benelux & France
Following its successful market launch in Germany, MAGURA Bike Parts is to expand the distribution of Supernova to other European countries, including the Benelux countries, France and the UK.
MAGURA Bike Parts offers the complete portfolio of Supernova, bringing the innovative lighting range to the European specialist trade.
Based in Freiburg, Germany, Supernova specialises in the development of new lighting solutions for bicycles and alternative mobility solutions. The company offers solutions for pedelecs and S-pedelecs, as well as battery and dynamo-powered front and rear lights.
The M99 Mini is, Magura said, the first headlamp worldwide to have a switchable main beam (in compliance with German road traffic regulation). The Supernova M99 Tail Light has an integrated brake light too, which is compatible with the brake lever of the MAGURA MT5e and is automatically activated before braking starts thanks to the integrated switch. The high beam is actuated by a sensor on a special Supernova MAGURA MT clamp.
“The response to Supernova products in Germany has been really exceptional,” said Martina Class, Managing Director of MAGURA Bike Parts. “This is mainly due to the great increase in e-bikes and alternative mobility concepts. Supernova offers high-quality, road-approved products that improve safety and comfort for all road users. That’s why we’re delighted that we can now offer Supernova products in other European countries.”
Supernova CEO Marcus Wallmeyer added: “We chose MAGURA as our sales partner because its sales force of over 20,000 affiliated dealers is second to none – and the company’s service and quality standards have totally convinced us.”
Magura recently announced it will open a European Service Centre in the Netherlands.
