Mavic UK announce new South-East and South-West area appointments

Mavic UK has announce the appointment of Jacob Hennessy and Rob Tapner as the new Area Sales Executive and Area Sales Manager for South-West and South-East regions.

Jacob Hennessy, a known name within the UK racing scene (winner of the under-23 Gent-Wevelgem) Jacob brings knowledge of high-end products across all disciplines. Jacob commented on his new role: ‘After years of racing bikes professionally I am excited to join Mavic and start working within the cycle industry. I look forward to meeting all my retailers over the coming weeks ‘

Rob Tapner re-joins the cycling industry after a spell working within the motorcycle industry. Robert brings vast knowledge and experience from his time with ZyroFisher.

Of his new role, Robert said: ‘I am delighted to be joining such a historic and well-known brand as Mavic. After spending some time away from the cycling industry, I can’t wait to get started and re-connect with the existing
customers.’

Both Rob and Jacob will be looking after all retailers within their existing dealer network as well as looking for any new opportunities in the UK. Both will be attending retail shows and events providing in-depth knowledge of the Mavic range.

2022 saw the brand making major strides, powered in part by new investment, with Jean-Michel Bourrelier, Co-President of the brand announcing, “Mavic will invest over the next 3 years more than in the last 15 years.”
